Red spot/small round rash on head of penis. Not responsive to anti fungal treatment. Not an std. No pain or itch. What could it be and how to treat?
Exam-balanits: inflammation of the head of the penis can be caused by multiple factors: friction, fungal, bacterial, or inflammatory causes: must be examined.
Hello. Pls what can I do? I'm 29 years of age, I have rashes on my buttocks and I need home remedy.
Exam needed: An examination is needed to help diagnose the rash and suggest treatment.
Clove oil, tea tree o: Clove oil, tea tree oil, raw garlic, chamomile tea bags directly on the affected area all above have been tried with some success. But if the infection recuurs or does not clear you should consult doctor.

I have rashes on and of on my lips. I have tried all creams and tablets but nothing. I need home remedy. I'm tired of pills and creams.?
Dermatologist time: Persistent chapped lips may be lip eczema, which can be treated like skin eczema, using hydrocortisone cream, plus Vaseline or Aquaphor to moisturize. Sometimes, lipsticks or lip sunscreen chemicals are causing allergic reactions on lips. Other times, a person is a primary lip-licker (it's her habit). Once cracked, lips get irritated by routine foods and juices. Dermatologist can sort things out
I have rashes on and of on my lips. I have tried all creams and tablets but nothing. I need home remedy. I'm tired of pills and creams. They come n go. Help?
Address the cause: Seems the treatments you have tried are not addressing the cause. One common cause of rashes is food allergies- common allergens include dairy, gluten, eggs, soy, citrus & almonds- try avoiding for 2 weeks and add back one at a time. You might also be deficient in b vitamins, essential fatty acids or zinc. If these measures don't help consult a holistic md- see http://www. Abihm. Org/search-doctors.
I have a strange rash on my chin my mothher took me to the pharmacy and they said its a fungal infection so then I got home and I put the cream on it?
YES: Yeast rashes are common and easily treatable. You will have to use it for atleast 10-14 days. It should start improving in 3-4 days
Really no: Tinea capitis is very familiar. Although selenium sulfide dandruff shampoos can slow it down, it's best treated by systemic anti-fungal medicines that a physician needs to prescribe, as they are themselves toxic. There's a great medscape review: http://emedicine. Medscape. Com/article/1091351-overview.
What would cause a round scaly itchy rash that spreads to other members of the home even after using antifungal which makes the itching worse. I've tried different product's. Muciprocion, anti fungal, my child was on keflex and then switched to septra thi
Not antifungal: Mupirocin, keflex and septra (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) aren't antifungals, those are antibiotics, topical and systemic. Miconazole cream though is the antifungal, it's OTC, needs at least 2 weeks of application, but you ultimately want to see your doctor, it might not be ring worm to start with, also if you have a pet at home, it needs to be taken care of, wish you all wellness.

What are tha causes of fungal rash on my baby's diaper area? How would I know its a fungal rash compared to ordinary rashes
Red and itchy: Everyone has yeast that lives on the skin. But yeast particularly likes places that are damp and moist - like under a diaper. Keeping the skin cool and dry will help. You can also try an over-the-counter antifungal like Clotrimazole cream 3 times a day and see if that works. Yeast rashes are usually very red, itchy, and spread with "satellite" small red bumps away from the rash center. Good luck.See 2 more doctor answers
My son has small red circular rashes appearing on his body. Now im finding tgem on his scalp. They have a scabby top that flakes off. Is this fungal?
Flaky rash: It could be fungal and on scalp may not respond to a topical treatment so see a doctor for this
Yes for minor rash: If you truly have contact allergy caused by soap, the first step is to avoid the product. Overuse of soap can cause irritant dermatitis due to over-drying the skin. Fragrances and preservatives in soap can cause allergic contact dermatitis. If product avoidance and over the counter Hydrocortisone do not improve your rash, see you dermatologist.See 1 more doctor answer
