Objective research is lacking but the information is presented intelligently & responsibly, without exaggerated claims & I consider it quite credible. ...Read more

Possibly if early:
First, you say you don't know if you're pregnant. If you are late for your period take a home pregnancy test to find out.
There are reports that 500 mg of Ascorbic Acid without bioflavinoids every hour (including waking a couple times at nite) is often effective if done within 4 weeks of conception. No research proves (or disproves) this. See http://www.Sisterzeus. Com/hsp1shlp. Htm for details. ...Read more

You : You are considering an abortion using mega-dose vitamin c. Is it safe? No. What kind of health problems can it cause for you? Diarrhea, abdominal cramps, headache, gastritis or stomach ulcerations, anemia, constipation, increased flatus, hot flashes, joint pain and loss of body stores of copper. When combined with Aspirin or anticoagulants there can be adverse interactions. There are a variety of conditions that prevent adequate metabolism of vitamin c, so you would not urinate out the excess. The proposed mechanism of action is that vitamin c interferes with the production of progesterone. Herbal abortions work by poisoning you. The theory is that it your toxin levels will be so high, that the it will kill the embryo. Because, this is a very dangerous business, it can also kill you or make you very ill. The success rate with killing the embryo is actually rather low. I recommend that if you are going to be sexually active that you use some form of birth control responsibly. ...Read more
No such thing unless: In general vitamin c is extremely safe and non-toxic and you can not overdose, in the sense of taking a quantity that would damage your health. There is a limit to how much you can absorb, and when this amount is exceeded you won't absorb anymore and it will act as a laxative. The exception is people who have a hereditary g6pd deficiency, in which high doses of IV vit c can cause hemolytic anemia. ...Read more

Not likely to work: That is not likely to work. You don't say what sort of treatment you had that was the wrong treatment. It sounds like you probably have some post-inflammatory changes, and those typically fade over up to a year. I wish you the very best! ...Read more

Hi doctor recently I have found that I am having fatty liver what treatment is good to get rid of it and vitamin C and iron is good for it or bad plz?
Find cause: Your physician needs to decide whether this is due to alcohol use, hepatitis c, the poorly-understood fatty liver ("non-alcoholic fatty liver disease") that we see in folks who are often insulin-resistant, or one of the more unusual causes. A man without iron loss should not iron-supplement; I doubt vitamin c will help, for non-alcoholic fatty liver an aerobic fitness lifestyle may help a lot. ...Read more

Any home remedies for "inducing" a period and making it come earlier than scheduled? Rumored: extra vitamin c, green tea, ginger, masturbation?
See answer: Scientific backing for claims that certain herbs and foods can induce a period is lacking; however, there is plenty of anecdotal evidence and folk wisdom suggesting that some foods can help start a late period naturally: vit c, ginger tea, parsley, celery, black cohosh, motherwort, dong quai, white peony, etc. Keep in mind that all herbs carry some risk with use and can interact with medications. ...Read more

Trying to miscarry?: Abortion medicine is by prescription, so a woman goes to her Ob-Gyn doctor (or a women's clinic) to be evaluated for it. Whether medicine can be used also depends on the age of the baby fetus (the number of weeks pregnant). The doctor will talk with the patient to be sure that the patient is making a good permanent decision, because abortion is a hard decision for any woman to make. ...Read more

HIGHLY UNLIKELY ..: You are pregnant. There are EXTREMELY rare cases where a woman was pregnant and menstruated anyway, but after two periods, multiple negative pregnancy tests, and, I presume, no real symptoms of pregnancy, I think you can rest assured you are not pregnant. Don't go through this again; pursue reliable contraception! Best wishes:) ...Read more
