Neck and shoulder: neck and shoulder rolls and stretches can be very helpful. Doing resistance exercises for the neck and shoulders with either exercise band for the neck and/or weight for the shoulders can help strengthen these muscles. Actually the jolt: you feel is from the beat after the PVC. There is a pause after the PVC resulting in a longer time for the heart to fill with blood. The recovery beat is then stronger to eject the increased volume. Makes some people cough and feel a grabbing sensation. Normal physiology.
