There is: no "DIRECT" connection between thyroid gland output and t-4/t3 ratios and "female hormones" except that the BINDING of the hormone itself is altered by female hormone levels...This does not generally effect the end point of Thyroid Hormone effects (on growth, muscles and other tissues) Hope this helps! Either way: There is a very common condition called "post partum thyroiditis". It can cause fluctuations in your thyroid function leading to both high and low hormone levels. Further testing: The fatigue may be still be related to the thyroid. You should have a full thyroid panel which would include total and free T4 and t3, (liothyronine) rt3 and fti as well as thyroid autoantibodies. There can be defects in conversion from inactive to active hormone or an autoimmune process may be active.
