She : She needs a follow up with her doctor asap. There is a possibility that she has a skin infection(cellulitis) that did not respond to the initial antibiotics. Is the area, red, hot, painful? Probably not: There are hobo spiders in WA. If they ever bite at all, the result is much less severe than brown recluse. Expert opinion differs as to the existence of any bites by hobos.
