Is red dot on head of penis an STD or hiv? Painless

Is red dot on head of penis an STD or hiv? Painless

Here are some. ..: Watch it or them for 1-2 months; if being there as long a you could have remembered without a change in number, it/they could be benign so no need to concern; if changing in number along with size, have Doc take a look for sure. But, clinically, having red dot (s) on foreskin is usually related with local hygiene, so keep foreskin/glans penis cleaning & drying regularly. More doubt? See Doc timely. ...Read more

Can I get hiv if vaginal fluid from my boxers touch the head of my penis or just very begining of uretha? No penetration of vagina at all.

Can I get hiv if vaginal fluid from my boxers touch the head of my penis or just very begining of uretha? No penetration of vagina at all.

No risk, no worries: You cannot catch HIV (or any other STD) from such exposure, even if the vaginal fluid is from an infected woman. Even with unprotected vaginal sex with an infected woman, lasting several minutes, on average HIV is transmitted only one chance in 2, 000. What could it possibly be from this sort of brief, fleeting contact? ...Read more

Hi my partner has a small red on his penis head & white around the dr told him its ulcer does it could be HIV? Because he told him to see a professor

Probably not hiv: Other STDs should be considered. It sounds a bit like syphilis so testing should be done. No unprotected sex until this is resolved and perhaps you should get tested too. But both of you should get HIV as well since STDs and HIV can coexist. ...Read more

Scared for HIV exposure. Red skin under the head of my penis. No other symp. Possible exposure was 5 wks ago. Rash wouldn't just show up now, would it?

Scared for HIV exposure. Red skin under the head of my penis. No other symp. Possible exposure was 5 wks ago. Rash wouldn't just show up now, would it?

This is not HIV: HIV does not announce itself as a rash on your penis in any case. Chances are that this is a minor hygiene problem or perhaps mild allergy to clothing or detergent. If it stays around for 2 weeks or more, get it seen, or if it's painful, get evaluated now for possible herpes. ...Read more

Can one get hiv if the hiv infected male flipped the condom when realized mistake (the condom touched the head of penis). Will virus survive on condom?

Very low risk: In theory, reversing a used condom could result in transmission of HIV or other STDs, if the first male user was infected. However, any risk from this would be very low. ...Read more

Is rubbing a vagina opening with the penis head exposes risk of HIV? Doctor gave me PEP for only 3days and he said because risk is low. Is it true?

Yes: The risk of getting HIV from your experience is small. Just to make sure you did not get infected, get an HIV nucleic acid test after 6 months. You may consult these sites for information on this topic:

Someone I know has had loss of pigmentation on penis head and just got the flu...Probably has suspect sexual history. Hiv? Isolated? Should be checked

Not HIV: A patch of depigmentation on the glans can be any of several entities but is not worrisome for hiv. Further, a fellow-adult's HIV status is their business. If this is you, get yourself checked now. Best wishes. ...Read more

Had sex-Balanitis on penis head, non painful white spots on tonsils won't go away, red spots look like molluscum base of penis. 3.5 weeks total. HIV?

Get examined: None of this suggests any STD, unless you have molluscum contagiosum. If you do, maybe from some other exposure; 3.5 weeks probably is too soon. The chance of HIV is low and your symptoms don't suggest it. But since you're worried, and have possible MC, you need to see a doctor or clinic for personal exam and STD/HIV testing. You'll never get final answers online or by self testing. Good luck. ...Read more

My penis was bleeding after rubbing it against another mans ass- his hair cut me. Should I be worried about contacting HIV? No penetration occurred.

My penis was bleeding after rubbing it against another mans ass- his hair cut me. Should I be worried about contacting HIV? No penetration occurred.

Seek good exam: Your hyper-sensitivity and bleeding needs to be examined and treated. While there seek info on safe-sex - always use a condom - even w/o planned penetration. Exposure of any sort can pose risks especially to an open wound. Ask about testing and a preventive Rx. Be informed and be safe! ...Read more

My boyfriend has hiv. What is the risk of receiving oral? I check his mouth for blood each time and there is none and he covers the tip of my penis.

My boyfriend has hiv. What is the risk of receiving oral? I check his mouth for blood each time and there is none and he covers the tip of my penis.

Low: Life is a matter of weighing risks versus benefits / needs. I trust the special man in your life is being treated and has the infection under control. Receiving oral sex is a very inefficient way of transmitting hiv, and if it's at all possible, please keep using barrier protection. This said, congratulations on your having found one another and being comfortable with your love. Best wishes. ...Read more
