Can the inst hiv-1/hiv-2 antibody rapid test be reliable after 62 days to possible HIV exposure? Test results were negative. Could this be reliable?

However there is testing that is much more reliable. This is the HIV pcr dna testing. This test, if negative after 21 days post exposure is 100% accurate if negative. ...Read more

I had syphilis and got blowjob from HIV unknown status person. I did elfa test at 22nd day. It came negative. How reliable it is?

Get tested again: Even if you have a syphilis chancre, it's hard to get HIV from saliva. You're probably okay, but if you're very worried, get a pcr assay. The antibody assays may not turn by day 22. I'm glad to see that you're becoming more conscientious about your health -- the person who gave you syphilis could have given you HIV as well. Out of respect for yourself and others, please resume using condoms. ...Read more
