Threw my head back when laughing and hit my head on a corner of a cement wall. My head is very sore. Concussion?
Possibly: If you are completely normal with just some pain at the site of impact, you probably can continue to observe. However, if you had loss or altered awareness, focal neurological deficit, worsening headache, are on blood thinners, etc., you ought to get it checked out. If in doubt, err on the side of getting checked out. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I hit my head on the Concrete, and I had a bump on the top right side of my head on May 22. I still have a bump on my head at the same spot today, why?
Head bump: The bump probably caused a bit of bleeding deep next to the skull. It can calcify/scar the area. OR, you might have a small foreign body, tiny piece of rock/concrete, that embedded and caused a local inflammatory reaction. If it doesn't bother you (hurt) I would leave it alone for now. It will probably slowly go away. Of course, a surgeon would invite you into an encounter with a scalpel ;) ...Read more

I got elbowed in my head playing basket ball, now everytime i touch the spot where i got hit i fill a pulse on the top of my head... What should I do?
Icem NSAID, obs: An elbow to the head -ouch! probably caused a bump called a hematoma which is a collection of blood just under the scalp. The skull is quite thick and very tough, this injury is between skull and skin, not in the brain. Ice the area, take Ibuprofen or tylenol (acetaminophen) at proper doses, and it should slowly shrink and resolve. If any dizziness, vision changes, etc, see a doc. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

No change of bone: At your age the bones are well fixed and solid. A hard enough slap from a very strong, agressive person might fracture the bone, but not change its shape. The pain is almost certainly from the bruising that the slap gave you. Hopefully he will not do this again. ...Read more
