Arm troubles: Hello, it sounds like while you were fast asleep, you were compressing your ulnar nerve. This happens easily since the nerve travels close to the elbow. Xray time: With the amount of pain and swelling you describe, it sounds to me like you need an xray. Some of your carpal and metacarpal bones, if broken, need to be addressed sooner rather than later to make sure they heal properly.
