Hip Pain When Stepping On Left Foot
I have pain on my left back on hip.Pain comes to my left foot.Pain is not continues , the scanning report s normal dr said it is uti. What it could be?
I have pain on my left back on hip.Pain comes to my left foot.Pain is not continues, when it pains i feel wet on my panty. Dr said it is uti. Reason?
Not UTI: Back pain the left foot cannot be due to a simple uti. Back pain to the left foot is likely due to lumbosacral radiculpahty. The incontinence is likely from bladder dysfunction due to the same thing that's causing the back pain and radiculopathy and not uti. This could turn out to be a true medical emergency and suggest proper medical evaluation much sooner than later. ...Read more
I ran a 1/2 marathon and after the arch in my left foot started hurting. I think i'm lifting my toes now when i walk. May be leading to hip pain. ?
Give it time: If you finished the race just recently, you might just have some irritation of your plantar fascia. If you can walk and this was recent, just ice it, stretch gently, and give it a little time (and i see you are taking advil, (ibuprofen) which is reasonable). I wouldn't jump to an xray or an MRI just yet! if your symptoms are all in your foot, and you don't have neurological symptoms, ok to wait. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers
Can hip pain be a symptom of herniated disc? I have l 3-4 disc protrusion (per mri) from lifting a heavy object. Initially i only had low back and hip pain. Over the period of 2 weeks i developed pain down my left leg and into the sole of my left foot.
Will gynecology problems detect only through ultra sound or other test required? I have a left hip pain radiating to foot
Depends on problem: Transvaginal ultrasound, pap smear, and pelvic speculum and manual exam, and regular abdominal ultrasound are useful to detect gyn problems. However, it all depends what the working diagnosis is that needs to be confirmed by the best test available if warranted. You may need to have your left hip pain evaluated further, and see whether or not it's related to your miscarriage history, or any other pelvic/abdominal procedure you've had done in the past. ...Read more

32 weeks pregnant. having severe swelling in both feet but always more in my right than left, extreme pelvic and hip pain also. normal?
Positional: It's not unusual to get more swelling on one side, due to the position of the baby's head. When you swell, you want to lay down, preferably on your left side, and elevate your feet. You also want to drink lots of water to flush your kidneys. ...Read more
Heavy pain left calf and shin. Doc gave me steroid shot left hip. Pain subsided. Now pain in left heal/bottom of foot. What can cause this?
The shot... maybe: If, in the process of injecting your hip, the tip of the needle touched the sciatic nerve, that would explain referred pain in your heel and foot. If this is the case, it should resolve over time. I would certainly report this new finding to the doctor who gave you the shot. Hope this helps. Feel better! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Left Hip pain and pain in top front thigh/. Painful when lifting leg up. Pain started in big toe which has been pinned for several years.
Get evaluated: Your pain can have multiple sources, but it sounds like you may have a "positive straight leg raise," which means potential nerve compression. Nerve compression can cause a radiculopathy and lower extremity pain. If you have any bowel or bladder symptoms its a sign of an emergency. ...Read more
Having pain on upper back, neck for 6 mnths with ankle & hip pain. Eyes burn and there's a tingling on left arm. What might be causing this?
Hard to say: If you are in the far east, then the list of possible causes could be extensive. Seem kind of young to have a herniated disc in neck or back, but it is possible. I would be more concerned about some type of chronic infection (TB) or nutritional deficiency . Get this checked out. ...Read more

Causes for hip pain in 17 y/o? Not athletic but pain started 2 yrs ago. Feet turn in when she walks
That's your answer!: Feet turning in points to the hips, and without care, it will continue to hurt. Best to see an osteopathic physician, who can do an osteopathic examination of the entire neck, spine, hip, pelvis, lower extremities, and also treat the area, and start moving it to it's normal anatomy. It may take time to correct, but you're young, and it should be easy. Also, have a gluten free diet to assist. ...Read more
Pain and Numbness: If the hip hurts but the pain goes down to the knee, calf, foot or toes, you may wish to consider it sciatica - a pinched nerve in your back. If the pain doesn't get better after 6 - 8 weeks of rest from high demand activity, tylenol (acetaminophen) or anti-inflammatory medicines, it may be worth seeing a doctor. If the leg loses function (weakness) or if other major health issues develop - see one sooner. ...Read more
One of my legs and foot is colder than the other by touch. Seems when it gets cold I have severe hip pain, and hard to keep sitting up?
This is common.: This is a common finding after such a surgery. The major concern is to be on the look out for a d.V.T or clot in the leg. This would typically cause swelling of the leg and pain in the calf. The foot swells as the motion in the extremtiy is limited. The pain in the hip after the procedure is expected. Ice the hip, take your meds, and elevate your foot while at rest. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
