Why do I have so much pain from this hytrecomy its a couple of years I had a mesh implant put in me to help support my bladder rashes I hurt in my left hip all the time I have rashes my hip hurt it has tore up and pain all the time in sex discharge
There are a few different issues going on here. You should see your doctor for your hip pan. You will likely need an x-ray and pain medication while a diagnosis is sought. As far as your abdominal pain, this also needs to be investigated. You could have a build up of scar tissue or an issue with the mess. Lastly the vaginal discharge could be infectious (bacteria, yeast, etc) please see your doctor in order to address all your issues.
Best of luck. ...Read more
The bladder is a muscular organ in the pelvis that accepts urine from the kidneys, stores the urine at low pressure, & expels the urine during voluntary voiding. The muscular layer that contracts during voids ...Read more
I am 19.5 weeks pregnant and woke up with really bad right hip pain and pressure on my pelvis (as if my bladder is full but it's not). Normal?
Rupt. Dsk w/loss of bladder cntrl. Resulted in decomp. Lamenectomy on 9/12. No pain until 2 monts ago. Severe back and hip pain now. Will I need sgry?
I don't either: There is nothing that pops right out about how they could be related, other than they are generally in the same area of the body! Not sure why you are palpating your bladder, but it sounds like an x-ray of the right hip is in order and a visit to your doctor for evaluation of these symptoms. Good luck! ...Read more
4mm kidney stone xray showed it at L4. I've had a lot more pain & haematuria & now buttock/hip pain. Does that indicate the stone has moved to bladder?
Moved somewhat: It is known that these stones will hurt when they move. Bleeding will also occur. Can't always tell where it is by the pain. The closer to the bladder, the more likely you will feel it in the groin area or back. The best way to know where it is, is with an X-ray. Hope it passes quickly ...Read more
In 2010 I underwent bladder prolapse surgery using a mesh sling. I have pain in lower back L4-5 region and pain in hip getting worse. Is there connect?
Unlikely: It would be unlikely for a mesh sling to have a causative effect as it is not placed anywhere near your spine area. Disc and other back issues would be much more common to investigate. ...Read more

I have movement in my abdomen. I have left it against my hip bone and ultra sound showed nothing. It moves several times a day and against my bladder?
The only: Thing that moves on its own to any degree that you would feel within the abdomen/pelvis is the bowel. Bowel loops normally contract and relax during digestion, as fluid, solid contents, and gas move along. Did they check you for a hernia? Bowel loops withing a hernia sac could cause a sense of movement in the inguinal region. ...Read more

Sometimes a pinched nerve in the back can cause back, buttock, and thigh pain depending on which nerve is involved. Bursitis: Sounds like - pain on the outside of the hip along the bone is called trochanteric pain syndrome or bursitis. Stretch by crossing your legs in a standing position and try to touch the sides of your ankles leaning over the side. Ice and antiinflammatories may help as well. ...Read more
My sister is taking morphine for severe hip pain but hasn't had a full night rest in about a week. What can I do to alleviate the pain for her?
Severe pain: Morphine is top notch medicine for pain, but should be managed only by a pain specialist. There are other narcotic medications that may help, if indicated. In the mean time, heat should help. Over-the-counter zostrix (capsaicin) cream may help; be careful what you touch if you apply it. Medications like Ibuprofen are still indicated. Additional nonspecialist meds that may help are Amitriptyline or gabapentin. ...Read more

Labral tear?: It sounds like your hip started hurting with no history of trauma. Is that right? It could be a labral tear. An exam, xray and mri would help diagnose. If that is what it is you should avoid hip flexion (squats). Also a hip injection into the actual hip joint (not the bursa on the outside of the hip) would help. Try anti-inflams and see if they help. Instead of ibuprofen, maybe naprosyn. ...Read more
