Hip Pain Flexeril Ultram
Currently in tx/lower back and hip pain (mostly on iliac crest) only flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) and Ultram help-xr neg?
Limit treatment.: If that effective rx is effective, complete a 3-4 week course of treatment. However, if the problem does not resolve, have it further worked up beyond the xrays. You do not want to stay on ultram for prolonged period. For most problems, i give it 3-4 weeks to get better or resolve, before more intense workup. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Seeing info on benefits of red wine, but I take flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) at night for sleep, Ultram in the am and sometimes at noon for pain. Is red wine a "no go?"
Not with Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl): Health benefits of red wine are limited to 1 serving/d for women and 2 servings/d for men. The sedative side effect of Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) is what you are using for sleep. Interaction with the red wine not a great concern. However, together, may be too sedating. Also, alcohol within a couple of hours of sleep interferes with restful, recuperative sleep. ...Read more
