How can I differentiate whether my hip and groin pain is nerve or muscle related? Have had lower back pain, but MRI looks good.
Hip: The t12 or L1 nerve from the low back can certainly cause pain that wrapped around and goes into the groin, but by far, the most common reason for groin pain (besides an inguinal hernia) is a hip joint issue.
