Hip Alignment Symptoms
Alignment: Probably walking with a limpGet a more detailed answer ›
Can I still get scoliosis after I'm done growing. And could I have it, my symptoms are uneven shoulders and my hips get out of alignment.
Yes: It is possible. If someone has scoliosis prior to cessation of growing the scoliosis can increase gradually over time. When people get much older, arthritis of the discs and joints can cause scoliosis as well. Your pelvis/ hips can be out of alignment from a difference in leg lengths and cause a compensatory curve in the spine. If you are concerned see a physiatrist or spine md.See 1 more doctor answer
Hip Fracture: Signs and symptoms of a hip fracture may include: inability to move immediately after a fall severe pain in your hip or groin inability to put weight on your leg on the side of your injured hip stiffness, bruising and swelling in and around your hip area shorter leg on the side of your injured hip turning outward of your leg on the side of your injured hip.
Extreme pain: Pain is the primary symptom, with inability to walk or even move a secondary. It usually takes a large amount of force to dislocate a hip, and a large amount of effort to get it back into place. Without a trauma like a motor vehicle accident, it is very rare.
Hip pain: Hip dislocation is relatively rare, but serious. Symptoms include severe pain in the hip, worsening with leg movement. The leg on the affected side appears shorter than the other. There may be numbness or pain down the back of the thigh if the sciatic nerve is involved. A dislocated hip also makes the individual unable to walk.
Most commonly pain: Pain and limited range of motion. I would also ask what activities made the pain worse or better. Hip can sometimes present as vague groin pain, increases with internal rotation. Rib pain is tender to touch, and may increase with deep breath or cough. Have your doc check it out to make a diagnosis.
Pain, stiffness, etc: Pain is typically in the groin, and also can be down the thigh or on the side of the hip. Stiffness can also occur. Difficulty with prolonged sitting, bending to put on shoes, etc, are common. Often patients experience sharp shooting pains or "catching" or "locking" sensations in the groin. Some patients experience the feeling of the hip "sliding out of socket.".See 1 more doctor answer
Not likely: But possible. There referral pattern of pain from uti's can be different in every person, but unilateral hip pain would be a rare pain referral pattern. Rule out a UTI first, but if it is negative, consider having your hip examined. Hope that helps!
Pain & instability: No matter the reason, a loose implant is no good. There are two types of loosening, septic and aseptic. Septic loosening is due to infection and is a very serious problem. Aseptic loosening is due to wear and can make reconstruction difficult. Any lose implant needs to be reconstructed, see your orthopaedic surgeon asap! Consider seeing an adult reconstruction specialist for a second opinion.
Hip fracture: Most common symptoms of a fractured hip include lateral hip or groin pain following an injury. Patients typically cannot bear weight on the affected hip. Toes on the affected foot usually point out and the leg may appear shortened. X-rays needed to make the diagnosis.See 1 more doctor answer
Pain over greater: The symptom of hip bursitis is usually over the greater trochanteric region or on outside of the upper leg. One may have some pain radiating down the outer part of the leg to the knee. Also, when one lays on the affected side, it may be uncomfortable. Best treatment is exercise, aspercreme to the area, or NSAIDS. If they do not work a cortisone shot may be of benefit.

Groin Pain: Injures of the hip joint typically involve groin pain. There may be clicking/catching of the hip when rotating or flexing the hip by bringing the knee close to your chest. Pelvic injury symptoms depend on the injury. A bony injury is unlikely unless from a high energy accident or collision. Soft tissue injury of the pelvis usually is from muscle avulsion from an explosive athletic maneuver or fall.
Pain pain limpping: Many people have no symptoms in the early stages of avascular necrosis of bone. As the disease worsens, your affected joint may hurt only when you put weight on it. Eventually, the joint may hurt even when you're lying down. Pain can be mild or severe and usually develops gradually. Pain associated with avascular necrosis of the hip may be focused in the groin, thigh or buttock.
Hip groin pain: Hip symptoms are felt in the groin. But a fracture can occur in a variety of areas in the hip and can be felt in general in different areas. A lot of people complain of pain along the outer pelvis. This is usually not where you feel hip pain and more often bursitis of the hip.See 1 more doctor answer
