Vaginal odor?: panty shields are a choice, but aren't necessary. While there is a "smell" to a vagina, this is nothing to be ashamed of or try to cover up. It's normal. Sometimes a panty shield is not "breathable", and may contribute to vaginal odor or overgrowth of bacteria or yeast. Ur panties likely don't smell Bc of the shield.
