Low Na florinef (fludrocortisone): A person if unknown age and gender and ethnicity asks why is my Na "low" taking florinef (fludrocortisone) and high salt for ZPOTS. Assuming you take no orger meds you are drinking more water than your body can control or you are losing more salt than you r eating. But need all the information for a good answer. ...Read more

It Depends: More info needed. You need to make sure the doc tx'ing you is experienced in tx'ing POTS. POTS is likely mult diff cond's w same sx's. ?? urine Na is good if you have a ?? blood volume prob, if you have a renin/aldosterone prob need med to get your body to hold Na, if an autonomic prob med for that. The key is corr dx/tx. Dx often ? & trial/error tx needed. Good news - most people get better w time! ...Read more
