Moderation : Excess protein actually can inhibit your production and secretion of testosterone. Also testosterone is made from cholesterol. So i would not recommend a "high protein", "low fat" diet. Depending on your weight and activity level, i would recommend 6-8 ounces of protein (and fat) in the form of meat or fish or eggs or cheese or poultry 3 times each day. Proteins are the most important nutrient and least harmful food...So do not exclude proteins...Just choose lean proteins which are free of fats(this will include fish, eggs, nuts and low fat dairy). It doesn't help: The tamoxifen doesn't help. I would stay with the 1200 calorie diet (track it to be sure that's really your intake). I would then start increasing the exercise. If you are not exercising at all right now then start with walking and maybe strength training. Pilates, yoga and swimming / water aerobics are good options too. ...Read more
