High Mono Auto Test
I have CBC test where monocytes are high, liver enzymes ALT high; also EBV IgG positive, CMV IgG positive CMV IgM normal.. Hiv negative at 32 weeks.
See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, it would help to have the actual values of the results. The one item of interest is high ALT. If you drink alcohol, stop entirely for three months and redo the test. Other results are okay. ...Read more
What does a high EBV viral nuclear capsid antibody, a high EBV viral capsid antibody IgG and a high IgM EBV viral capsid antibody mean, what's it mean?
Likely immunity,,: You've got antibodies to the ebv which likely means you were infected at some time in your life and you recovered and now your body has circulating antibodies to it. An igg antibody in particular indicates long term resistance. This virus usually causes asymptomatic infection so you probably fought it off and weren't aware of it. Best of luck. ...Read more

Low lympho high neutrophils normal total WBC positive ANA negative ENA does lean towards autioimmune issue?
I've blood test indicate high ESR 70-110, high mchc 36.2, low RDW 30.8, high mpv 12.3, low pct 32% w/ other test normal. Am i susceptible to hiv?
Past EBV infection: The presence of igg to the ebv capsule means that your body was exposed at some time in the past to ebv and made antibodies against it. It is at its highest level 2-3 months after the initial infection, and it will always be present. An elevated igm level would be consistent with current/recent infection. ...Read more
Ana positive low c3c and 4 no symptoms of auto immune could my fatry liver ve auto immune hepatitis?
Need more info: Your history, symptoms, physical exam and laboratory data are all essential in arriving at a diagnosis, which cannot be done on the internet. Hepatitis is usually manifested in the laboratory by the presence of elevated enzymes which are released from liver tissue. It is possible this represents autoimmune hepatopathy, but need far more data. ...Read more

Had EBV test came back EBV nuc IgG ser qi eia positive and EBV vac IgG eia postive. Ebv capsid IgM eia negative. I'm so tired what do this mean?
Makes perfect sense: Igm antibodies rise only during the actual, acute infection. They then fade away and are replaced by the various igg antibodies, which are the ones that provide lifetime protection against the same strain of the virus. So your numbers are consistent with the fact you had mono years ago. There is no igm, and positive igg levels. So you are immune and do not currently have mono. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
What could cause high sed rate (37), high WBC, high Eosinophils, high neutrophils, a high ana (54.73), ana Titer 1:40? Chest pain, severe fatigue?
Postive Elisa test, positive band 41 western blot positive Ana antibodies- soar throat and extreme fatigue after eating ANYTHING- autoimmune disease?
Means nothing alone: Please forgive my frankness. This mishmash of lab results is meaningless apart from your history and physical exam. Reference ranges for labs are set so that a few percent of healthies fall outside on either end. If you feel well, ignore them. The high hs-CRP may be a heads-up that you've got more atherosclerosis than you think. If you feel well, ignore the rest. ...Read more
Ebv IgG extremely high positive, low positive rhumetoid, sed rate. I have also significantly high alt. What could it be? I'm referred to rhumetology
Anything: Ebv igg just means that you have been exposed to mono in the past. It doesn't mean anything recent- that's igm. With positive rheumatoid factor and sed rate, the question is whether or not you have rheumatoid arthritis. I'm not sure how the alt fits in- that is showing liver inflammation which would be unrelated. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Only indicates you..: Indicates you've had mono. See if this test was done! but form the data you present, nothing is abnormal and indicates you have had mono in the past! ...Read more
