Hi, doc, i was feeling nerve oppressed in the brain since high school, I am from china and i went to china's best hospitals, but they all say fine.
Mental Health: It sure sounds like a made up diagnosis and it would help to know more specific symptoms you are feeling. But, perhaps visiting with a mental health and brain specialist and being open to their evaluations can help you come to terms with what you are feeling. Our minds are amazing things, but they can make us worry needlessly. ...Read more
The truth: Our teenage patients are sometimes embarrassed or reluctant to discuss diabetes with their peers. It is so much easier and better for the teens when they're open about it. Friends can be the best support available. Because friends care, they might help you remember to test and take insulin. They get good at recognizing lows. No one has complained about their friends "getting in their face" to me. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I have been feeling many symptoms of low t. I got blood work and my total t was 285. Two dr's said i'm ok. I'm 36 and in good shape. Looking for a dr to help me in northeast pa.
Replacement may help: I usually treat levels below 300 in symptomatic males. Testosterone is not a wonder drug. Some guys feel great and some notice very little improvement when their levels get back in the normal range. You will need blood work if you decide to do replacement to make sure your hemoglobin and hematocrit do not start increasing with replacement. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I am suffering with high CPK I.e. Arround 355, earlier it was 266 before 2 month and that time I was taking tablets for high bp and lowering cholesterol..as suggested by my doctor I have stop the tablet of lowering cholesterol..but still my cpk is inc
CPK made by heart &: skeletal muscle + brain cells. Each CPK has 2 components: MM, MB or BB. Skeletal muscle ~95% MM, 5% MB; heart muscle ~20% MB, thus ratios used to distinguish muscles leaking CPK at increased rates into water outside cells (which labs measures). Elevated CPK unlikely related to cholesterol or agents; more likely related to skeletal muscle problems, e.g. autoimmune disease? Test enzyme ratios clues. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
M South Indian. Now that my doctor increased my dose of ocd tablets i started to have dreams and wake early.signs of good serotonin production?
Review with your doc: It usually takes a few weeks for the meds to kick in and all the side effects to resolve. Just review this with your doctor when you return for your follow up visit and let the medication start to work. Unfortunately with OCD people tend to over read the side effect profile and concentrate on everything but improving the OCD. Know it is common to have pill phobia and try to overcome this. ...Read more

I have a low folate (folic acid) level a high WBC and alopeciA suddenly , and high Bp I've also lost 50 0/0 of my hearing , yet still all the Drs don't have clue?
One diagnosis?: I'm not aware of any unifying diagnosis that could tie all those diverse symptoms together into one neat package. Low folate (folic acid) can cause low WBCs. High BP is very common and likely an unrelated problem. I think the approach here should be to address each issue: supplement folate (folic acid), search for infection, treat HTN, and go thru a list of causes for alopecia (there's a bunch of them). Best wishes. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Diabetes: A1c is in diabetes range. A very common complication of diabetes is fatty liver that can cause very mild elevation of liver enzymes. Short of that, anything else is possible. I am currently in a low carb diet but my cholesterol results where high, do I need to change any aspect of my diet?
I have been told I gace diverticulosis some dr say low fiber and some high fiber diet. What is best to control pain?
High fiber diet best: Diverticulosis of the colon is thought to be caused by a relative lack of fiber in the diet- specifically insoluble fiber, the kind that's in bran, or psyllium supplements. There is evidence that a high fiber diet decreases episodes of abdominal pain in those with diverticulosis. Remember that fiber and fluid work together, so also drink more water as you add more fiber to your diet. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I have Hi Total cholesterol ~225 and Tri-Gelsrides was 575 also low HDL 26 at the same time i have boarder line osteoporosis ,prephiralneuriitis?
? why osteoporosis: While your blood lipids/cholesterol are not ideal the real question is why does a young male have osteoporosis and peripheral neuritis? A search for the underlying cause of these conditions is mandatory: adrenal gland problems, diabetes, liver/kidney disease, thyroid/other glandular problems, etc. The high triglycerides contribute to low HDL. Drug therapy not particularly helpful: focus is diet! ...Read more
