Depends: A miscarriage is common, but not at 14 weeks. If you had a spontaneous miscarriage with very little bleeding, i would wonder if you passed the entire products of conception. The HCG level would be high at 14 weeks. It is a problem if it remains that high. You need to be seen to make sure you have completed the miscarriage and on the road to recovery, especially if you hope to become pregnant agai. ...Read more

Likely wait,,,: Likely, the best chance would be to wait until you cycle again to try to get pregnant as the ovary has to get back to releasing eggs for pregnancy to occur. The HCG levels would likely come down by that time also. Good luck. ...Read more

Could be cervix, etc: This could be due to an incompetent cervix and may need what is called a cerclage to correct it. There could be a Progesterone deficiency and so supplements may help. There could be other issues, like chromosomal abnormalities, preeclampsia, and hypothyroidism involved, so it would be smart to see your doctor for an exam and hormone studies to find out.
