Assuming the food i eat is high in total fat but very low in saturated fat & i manage to burn all calories i eat.Is high fat food OK in this scenario?
Unknown: I don't think we really know the answer to this excellent question but my impression is that, if you're using all the calories you eat, the fat content is not harmful. I base this on lipid profile results of Dr. Adkins (of the Adkins' diet) who eat a low carb, high fat diet, lose weight, and have no demonstrable harm. If you are eating 1300 calories per day and are not hungry this is a sign that you were maybe overeating before. The best solution is to make long term lifestyle changes. No: The 2000 calorie diet is a recommendation for a female of an ideal weight so is a saturated fat intake. For an ideal male it's around 2400.
