High Baso Blood Test Results
Will amoxicillian effect the results of an ANA blood test? I just got done w/ a ten day course (500 mg, 3x a day) & scheduled for blood work tomorrow
4 faint po tests and a negative blood test,other blood work fine symptoms are constent sickness, urniating all the time, some tightness. Whats wrong?
Depends on symptoms: ANA is a screen for lupus. The pattern was used in the past to assist in diagnosing lupus and related conditions, but we have better tests (i.e. Ena panel) that has made patterns less useful. But you cannot over interpret this test: ANA positivity, regardless of pattern, is not helpful without knowing your symptoms. I, m two month no period have all the symptoms of being pregnant home tests neg, blood test neg. Blood work for mp are neg. Still pgt symptom scare.
Talk to your doctor: Clearly most of what can be done to prove you are not pregnant has been done, so there must be other explanations for your symptoms. You have not stated your age so i can't guess reasonably at which of many possibilities is your correct diagnosis, but a gynecologist should be able to figure this out. ...Read more
