Back pain: Increased pain while sitting on the floor without back support is most likely muscular. It could be the sacroiliac joint as well. Disc herniation can also cause pain while sitting but is usually midline and not to one side. Try using lumbar support or simply a pillow behind the lower back. Change position frequently whenever possible.

What can cause me to have sharp chest pain associated with high left side back pain up into the back of my neck sometimes causing a headache?

Heart Disease?: With the limited information, the foremost concern would be a heart condition such as angina. I would recommend that you get evaluated as soon as possible. It is possible you have cervical spine or a muscular cause for your symptoms, but these conditions are not life-threatening. Please get a cardiology evaluation first and make sure you don't have symptoms related to heart disease.

My 14yr old has been sick well over 3months with back pain and a squeezing pain under ribs on both sides and now her WBC is 17 leut are high lymph low?

PROLONG ILLNESS:: She needs thorough evaluation and treatment. High WBC count with increased neutrophil count goes in favor of bacterial infection or something more serious. Does she have sickle cell disease? Take her back to the pediatrician for re-evaluation and further testing and proper management.

Strain: Lumbar strain could cause your symptoms with muscle spasms on the side. Pain can elevate blood pressure too. However, there are other causes of your symptoms so you should get a medical evaluation. Good luck.

I am having a back pain, high degree constipation heavy left side due to constipation, left leg pain and sometimes left brain pointed irritation. Cure?

Too little info: I am not sure how these symptoms correlate. More information and clarification is needed. It is probably best if you see your family doc for a good history, physical and clarification of your symptom complex...

Have back pain, back spasms that go down my legs and curl up my toes. I also have had a high wbc since june. Did 24 hrs urine it was neg. Pain l side?

See specialist: Given the severity and persistence of your back symptoms I would make an appointment to be seen by a back specialist for further workup and evaluation. Could be a bulging disc with sciatic nerve pain. Will likely need imaging studies to be certain.

Overweight with high blood pressure. Could right side back pain that is recurrent (couple months) be a sign of impending heart attack? Or just muscle?

Depends on: Exact location, severity, timing, tenderness on palpation or motion, and lots of other things. Cannot determine for certain here, so you should see a doctor to make sure that this is not angina or any other serious condition.

Having low back pain on one side, went to dr, urine test + for blood & high protein levels, CT scan for stones neg. Father died at 46 of renal ca.

See details.: The ct scan would have shown evidence of a renal cell carcinoma so that is ruled out. The high protein is indicative of significant kidney inflammation. I would suggest seeing a nephrologist (kidney specialist) for an opinion.

Taking omprezole have upper back pain side effect thank you and thyroid level elevated 5.18 smoke e cigs?

Back discomfort: Omeprizole should not cause back discomfort. Elevation of the tsh is best evaluated by an endocrinologist or thyroidologist. Many physicians feel that there are problems with e cigarettes and hopefully you eventually will get off them. Upper back pain is often due to musculoskeletal strain. An orthopedic specialist is best qualified to evaluate and advise you.

The two could be re: The two may be related. This is something to discuss with your physician. The liver is on the right side where you are having your symptoms. This needs to be evaluated.

I Am 33yrold and have been having left side chest pain, back pain, nausea, breathing spasms elevated d dimer with a clear ct scan er said pulled muscl?

General physician: You need to get a complete history and a good physical exam. I suspect you have at least two things going on. A competent physician needs to determine whether this is functional illness or a serious health problem, perhaps pulmonary hypertension.

16yo w severe back pain radiating to rt side. Ct showed mesenteric adenitis. Mri showed schmorl node endplate changes at 4 levels elevated ana?

Schmorl Nodes: Are normal findings. You have some active inflammation (the adenitis) causing your pain (but it's probably not from your spine). This can be from a number of causes, your doctor knows you best, and can narrow down the possibilities.

Back pain right side in the middle when move or breath?

Muscle spasm: Sounds like you're suffering from a muscle strain. I recommend taking some Motrin or advil (ibuprofen) for the next couple days. In the event it does not get better see an orthopedic specialist and get involved in a physical therapy program.
