Hello my urine test found positive in ketone and bilirubin and also had 20mg ascorbic acid. Can I know what are the problem about this?

Not Necessarily Any: Ketones are a byproduct of burning fat, they are healthy ; not a problem if not very high. Bilirubin, a breakdown product of hemoglobin, mostly cleared by liver but some people do not clear as well ; some is cleared through kidneys; get liver function test results to help evaluate. Ascorbic acid is vitamin c, a water soluble vitamin, ; likely spilling into urine if you are taking lots of vitamin c. ...Read more

I have made a work medicine check up. My ascorbic acid levels are too high! You should go to your doctor...Can anyone help?

Need more info: I am not sure what the question relates to. Ascorbic acid (vitamin c) levels are normally not checked. If someone is taking a high dose of vit c, a level might be checked, but I am more interested in why the vitamin and what resources are used for dosing. Some physicians such as dr linus pauling recommend huge dosages (10, 000 mg), other experts 500 mg. Can cause diarrhea maybe kidney stones. ...Read more

Is there a problem in giving a 500 mg ascorbic acid to a five year old?

No problem at all: Vitamin c (ascorbic acid) is extremely safe. The most common side effect of taking too much is a mild laxative effect, as any that is not absorbed remains in the GI tract and may cause loose stools.
