Gerd: This can be gastritis, gerd or other your other GI issues. I would recommend seeing your pcp or GI doctor to begin work up and get you proper medications or refer you for additional testing like esophageal manometry or an UGI study or endoscopy. ...Read more

Nausea: Nausea is a non specific symptom with multiple causes, dehydration, bad gallbladder, hernia, and yes hiatal hernia. Nausea after eating is one of the bad gallbladder symptoms. Okay to get evaluated by your regular doc, ask for imaging, gallbladder ultrasound. In the meantime stay on a low fat diet and increase your oral hydration. Be well. ...Read more

Unknown: Nausea is a very nonspecific symptom. It is not related to your small hiatal hernia, but could be from the gastritis. If the ulcer recurs, ask you GI doctor about zollinger-ellison syndrome, an uncommon tumor that produces excessive amounts of gastrin, a hormone that produces acid. Also, gastroparesis is another uncommon disorder diagnosed by nuclear medicine gastric emptying study. ...Read more

Maybe...: A hiatal hernia most commonly causes reflux. Severe episodes of reflux can result in nausea and vomiting. Gastric motility problems, often the cause of reflux could result in nausea and vomiting as well. Good luck! ...Read more

Nausea belching a lot. Diagx with ulcers/hiatal hernia and diverticiosis past year. On Prilosec am Zantac (ranitidine) pm. Not getting better. Dont have hpylori.
