What's the question?: The presence of rubella IgG means that you were protected against rubella and thus it was not the cause for your miscarriage. Assuming the HSV2 is positive, you will need to talk to your OB doctor regarding this issue even though I am not aware that this is causing miscarriage. See your doctor to discuss prophylaxis and start treatment of this out break. Primary ( first) outbreaks can be severe enough that they cause urinary retention and necessitate hospitalization and a urinary catheter. There are good treatments to prevent this. ...Read more

See below: It really dos not matter as the oral or genital can cause issues in the oral or genital areas. So if he has a HSV-1 and you have oral sex it can give you a genital problem. To avoid oral issues avoid kissing when he has an active lesion. For the other I would just avoid oral sex with anyone with a history of oral herpes, although if they are healed over it might not be an issue. ...Read more
