Not necessarily: There is a blood test for herpes and if you wish to know if you have been infected with Herpes 1 and or 2, ask your doctor for the blood test. For good health- Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Yeast?: The main cause of vulvar itching is yeast infection. HPV doesn't cause itching. Mild herpes outbreaks may itch, with few other symptoms, but the itching would be localized to a particular spot, gone in a few days, and not recur until at least a few weeks later. Best to see a doctor for proper diagnosis. Or try an OTC yeast treatment, but for sure see your doctor if itching persists. ...Read more
