Woman had genital herpes outbreak on mon pubis area. That's the only area she had an outbreak.
Could I get genital herpes by having intercourse with her even if I don't touch the mon pubis area?
Treatment: If you're sure it's herpes, it can be treated with anti-herpes medication (acyclovir, valacyclovir, or famciclovir), provided you start soon enough. The lesion will go away without treatment, but it may come back in the same place. If it comes back infrequently, you can just treat it when it happens. If it comes back frequently (several times a year), you can take daily therapy to prevent it. ...Read more
No waxing or shaving: Tretinoin (retin-a) cream can help decrease skin plugging or hyperkaratosis. Topical tretinoin cream may thin out the epidermis, reduce the buildup of dead skin cells, and decrease hair embedding into the follicies. Topical corticosteroid creams with a mild strength can be applied to reduce inflammation of inflamed ingrown hairs. ...Read more
Ingrown hairs: Those are ingrown hairs due to shaving too close to the skin. Modern razors are so good, they actually shave *below* the skin surface, which sets up ingrown hairs. Use a single-blade razor or electric razor and shave with the grain, not against it. You won't get as close a shave, but that's the idea. ...Read more
Shaved, pimple on penis shaft w/hair in center, blisters like papercuts 2 days later spread apart not on glans, no burn, itch or pain. Wife has hsv?
Herpes?: The pimple sounds like the inflammation around an ingrown hair which should resolve with warm to hot soaks frequently. Blisters on the penis usually suggests herpes infection, but this is unusual without any pain. If you applied any medication to the area this may be a topical reaction to that, or potentially to something your wife has been using for vaginitis. ...Read more
Itchy pubic area directly above clitoris. Clitoral hood has a weird blister or raw lesion. Rawness between labia minora and majora. No STDs or stis?
You need an exam: Your symptoms are suggestive of a herpes simplex infection (sexually transmitted), but yeast (not sexually transmitted) may cause similar symptoms of rawness and itching. If you also have a white, cottage cheese-like discharge, it is more likely to be yeast. The bottom line is that you need to have an exam done by a health professional. And no sex until you find out! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

1 Dime size, no head pimple/blister between scrotum and anus. 2 weeks. Friction from tennis and sweat? Std!?
Sebaceous cyst?: An STD is a very unlikely cause of this sort of problem. More likely an inflamed (infected?) sebaceous cyst or something similar. See a doctor if it doesn't clear up in another week or so. Or sooner if it continues to enlarge, becomes sore, and ASAP if fever or spreading redness. (Your concern about STD suggests you may be at risk, so get tested to be safe. But not the cause of this problem.) ...Read more

3 red painful bumps on mons pubis. Not an ingrown hair or pimple. I am HSV1 positive, but this looks nothing like any previous outbreaks. My lymp?
Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests.
