Yes, possible.: It can happen if someone with active lesion or history of herpes infection touches to your heal area it can make a lesion appear in that area. It got to be skin to skin contact. It is unusual but it may happen . Usually it occurs when loose or improperly fitting shoes rub against the skin surfaces of the foot.
