Complex: Especially with a hernia present, its a bit complex for a simple answer. Ask about embolization of fibroids, & complete hysterectomy. Also inquire about the technique of hernia repair, and if mesh is necessary. If so, is the mesh permanent or absorbable? May also want to get an opinion form a hernia surgeon. Yes: Yes, but pain at an incision site is normal. One site may hurtle than the others if that was the extraction site for the uterus, and they sdid extra suturing inside. A hernia is classically associated with a bump that you can push clack in to the abdomen. A hard bump you can't push in under the incision is normal for 6-8 weeks or so.
