Pylori infection, but it is one of alternate med if others are not tolerated/allergic etc..Unless you have allergy to it or other contraindication, Metronidazole can be used. Did 3 treatments wth amoxicillin, clarithromycin, metronizadole, tetracycline + PPI for h pylori but stool test is positive. Why? Is there a cure?
