By after surgery the doctor may go to the herbalist for aroma therapy in order to relax from a busy day of doing surgeries. Usually not but...: The osteopathic profession started with the concept that alignment of bones plays a key role in health & treated people with adjustments. Over time osteopaths have become nearly identical to md's & now most don't even do adjustments (though many do & these can be very helpful). Like md's, osteopaths are not trained to use herbs, but the average osteopath is a bit more holistic & some do use herbs. ...Read more

No: Liposuction has been tried but doesn't work well at all. Direct surgical removal is still the best. There is no oral medication that is effective, not is there any topical cream or lotion that is effective. ...Read more

I am not aware: Of any medical condition called floppy colon. Some people have colon that is loosely attached to retroperitoneum and that can sometimes lead to volvulus, or twisting. But these conditions are usually discovered at surgery. As your herbalist what he means, and how he can tell without actually visualizing the colon. ...Read more
