Possibly SSC or AK?: May not be cancer. Traditionally squamous cell cancer (SSC) was infrequent under age 40. But the incidence is increasing in this age range. The risk increases with use of Tanning booths and living in the Sun Belt. You lesion may be actinic keratosis(AK) ( a precursor to SSC), SSC or a non-cancerous skin condition. The skin on my scrotum & shaft is red, itchy, and swollen. No bumps of any kind. The scrotal skin is also oozing fluid. Is this a fungus or bacteria?

Either one: Either fungal infectioni or certain bacterial infections can do this. "Oozing fluid" suggests a fairly severe infection, so it may not be safe to attempt over-the-counter treatment, and it's possible you would benefit from an oral antibiotic prescription.
