Herbal Treatment For Partial Anodontia
No: It is a rare disorder of the motor cells (control muscle) in the spinal cord that occurs in youth, progresses for several years then stabilizes. There is no treatment for it. A neurologist can counsel you further.
Over-the-counter: Drug stores have over-the-counter creams that have no "medications" like skin anesthetics, to relieve itching. One can consider the creams containing some type of menthol to be herbal. Such creams and oils have be used for many years, maybe even centuries. The ones in stores now are just the modern versions of them. Sometimes, general itching is due to internal disease, so a doctor should check.
None: Bedwetting is a normal developmental stage for many children and is now considered normal up into the teens. One or both parents usually have a history of bedwetting. No herbs have been shown to help in clinical trials. http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/bed-wetting/basics/alternative-medicine/CON-20015089 http://www.webmd.com/parenting/bedwetting-solutions-12/default.htm
Herbal RX for acne: Step 1 mix 8 tbsp. Of turmeric powder and 5 tbsp. Of sesame or olive oil in a clean, dry bowl. Stir well until the turmeric mixture turns into a creamy paste. Step 2 leave paste on skin overnight.
Risks and benefits: It is important to start w/ medical evaluation. Otc, herbal, and nonprescription remedies are not entirely benign and most have warnings about drug interactions, and more than short term use. Cognitive-behavioral therapy with relaxation training and sleep hygiene has been found to be more effective than meds: http://cpancf.Com/articles_files/psychotherapeuticotcherbalinsomniatreatments.Asp.See 1 more doctor answer
Hard to say: It really depends onthe type of allergy you are asking about. If it is runny stuffy nose, itchy eyes etc..It is probably due to something i the air(dust, pollen, pets). Avoidance is the cure..But usually hard to do...I am unaware of any effective herbal treatments..In fact, some people who are allergic to grass or weed pollen get sicker when taking herbal remedies..Be careful.
Avoid exposure: The simplest answer is to avoid exposure. However certain prophylactic remedies prior to exposure may help prevent full blown symptoms.
Sorry there isn't: No herbal or medication treatment. Hyrdocele fluid can be aspirated with a needle ; sclerosant such as tetracycline injected into hydrocele space, but results are unreliable, hydrocele more often than not recurs ; there is risk of infection. Surgery is the bay to go.See 1 more doctor answer
There aren't any: Herbal medicine is fascinating and many of the products are effective, especially for functional disease. However, none of the herbs can compare with scientific acne rx that's available from a scientific physician and is quite cheap, especially by today's crazy standards. Especially if the patient is a teen for whom you are caring, please do the right thing.
Are there any over-the-counter herbal or vitamin/mineral type substances that show any efficacy in treatment for fibromyalgia?
Homeopathy: I agree with dr. Baker's excellent answer -- and also want to mention that homeopathy can provide much benefit for people with fibromyalgia. You'll need a well-trained, experienced classical homeopath to take your case and treat you, though, because any one of hundreds of possible homeopathic remedies might be the one you need. Dr. Iris bell has done several studies. http://tinyurl.com/7ekkqhz.See 2 more doctor answers
