Currently having a homeopathy treatment for hair loss. Can the use of levitra (vardenafil) would interfere with my treatment?

Homeopathy & Levitra (vardenafil): Ask your homeopath, but Levitra (vardenafil) should not interfere with your homeopathic treatment. If your homeopath is well trained & your body can recover from the hair loss (as in some cases of alopecia and trichitillomania, etc) you have a good chance of positive results. Pharmaceuticals which more frequently interfere with homeopathic treatment are steroids and antibiotics. ...Read more

Is homeopathy a good choice for treating pcos i hav had many medications for it but there's no good response should I try homeopathic medicine s?

Scam: Homeopathy is never a good idea for treatment. Clinical trials of homeopathic remedies have shown them to be no better than placebo, and sometimes even actively harmful. In the end, they are mainly a money sink with very, very questionable chance of any benefit. ...Read more

I have 9mm stone at one side and 5mm both sides.Urologist suggested for lazer.Should I go for it or any medicine or homeopathic treatment.

Here are some...: Largely speaking, the described size of stones suggests a very low odd to pass through the ureter. As to when to intervene, it can be deduced by reviewing prior history of stone activities & their related management. Today, holmium laser lithotripsy is the choice of procedure, which has been proven to be effective and safe under experienced hands although ESWL may be still utilized by some. ...Read more

Hello, pls can you confirm this drugs for it was recommended for treating Hbsag(hepatitis). "Livelin" and "Vitibio". Thank?

What vitamins/ supplements could help chronic cluster headaches and safe with verapamil combination? Melatonin? Vitamin b?What dose and for how long?

Might try this:: Cluster headaches are more resistant to these OTC remedies, but might apply migraine approach with Vitamin B-2, riboflavin 200 mg twice daily, or perhaps, Co-Q10, 300 mg twice dally. If one or the other works, use for about 3 months after headache has ceased. ...Read more

14 mo has had many ear infections/colds. I want to give zinc & acidophilus for prevention. Advisable? He is on iron for low level already.

Not really.: Acidophilus will help his digestive tract, not his ear infections nor colds. I would discuss with the doctor about iron supplementation; the body artificially keeps iron levels low in protracted infections because iron serves as a growth factor for bacteria. If you are circumventing that by supplementing iron, that may cause issues. ...Read more

See below: Any medication related issues should be discussed with your prescribing provider since only s/he knows your medical history. Practicing good sleep hygiene, having a routine in place, will help with sleep. Also, you might want to discuss your insomnia issues with your providers to see if sleep study is warranted. Good luck! ...Read more

I am suffering with kidney failure and on capd. I am also suffering with HCV and i had 5 months interferon treatment, but no response of injections. Any other treatment?

See below: Genotype 1 of hcv is very resistant to treatment. You cannot get Ribavirin as it cannot be used in dialysis patients. Assuming you got adequate dose of interferon and there is absolutely no response, there is no other treatment. If you had some response at least, then you may benefit from prolonged duration of treatment. ...Read more

Q. About paloma-2 trial, exclusion "prior neo adjuvant treatment with letrozole or anastrozole with dfi d 12-months from completion of treatment." still on arimidex since 2009, am i excluded?

Q. About paloma-2 trial, exclusion "prior neo adjuvant treatment with letrozole or anastrozole with dfi d 12-months from completion of treatment." still on arimidex since 2009, am i excluded?

Maybe not!: This trial is for patients with metastatic breast cancer, and you cannot have received any treatment for your metastatic disease. This has to be the first treatment. So if you've been taking Arimidex (which is anastrozole) to treat metastatic breast cancer, you are excluded. But if you developed metastatic disease while taking Arimidex for your initial breast cancer, you're not excluded! ...Read more

I was diagnosed with pcos, and the tradition medicines (metformin) for it make me very sick. What are some herbal options i can try taking?

No: You most likely are on regular metformin. The slow release version is cheap and much much better tolerated. If not trying to conceive, you should be on a birth control pill to control it best. There are no herbal options that have any significant impact on the problems. ...Read more

On test cyp for hrt. Test was in low 100s. 2 docs prescribed injections, as no other test product worked. What supplements should I take with regimen?

No supplements: Only take supplements if you want to waste your money on products that you don't know what's in them or what they will do to you. If you already have gynecomastia, make sure you've had a full endocrine work-up by an endocrinologist. Injections are a poor way to replace testosterone. Other products are generally better. 2% gel almost always increases levels to normal at some dose if taken properly. ...Read more
