I do not drink alcohol but i still have upper epigastric pain. Ct scan reported ascites. How can that be? I also have fluid on/in the liver. Is this why i still have the pain?
There are many : Causes of ascites, not just alcohol abuse. Please see your doctor for additional workup, likely to include a number of blood tests as well as taking a same of the ascites and analyzing its composition.
