I would start with: Melatonin taken about two hours before your desired bedtime. If that does not work, you can use 10 mg of sonata (zaleplon) if prescribed for you and in this situation i write may repeat x 1 if you wake up and have at least three hours of sleep time left, so you can take another and go back to sleep within about twenty minutes. Difficulty falling: asleep is often associated w/anxiety while waking up early and not returning to sleep is associated w/depression. Periodic waking is associated w/overall light sleep. 2 issues: I think there are 2 issues you bring up. Humanly people with pancreatic cancer are digestive enzyme deficient, and thus don't absorb nutrients well. Replacement enzymes are available in pill form-pancrealipase might help. The trade name is creon. Pain is a separate issue that needs to be controlled with analgesics.
