I think so: If i understand your question correctly, a person with bipolar disorder may, especially in severe cases, relapse to the point of losing touch with reality. Sadly, sometimes the person may become suicidal requiring hospitalization for safety purposes. Stop offending meds: By first intention one needs to be sure that the symptoms of EPS in fact, are real. Secondly, stop offending meds (taper depending on which ones) and replace with others which do not have EPS as side effect. Third consider treating with antiparkinsonians if pushed against the wall but typically those medications are not robust at all for these types of problems.
