Are there any effective treatments for under the skin bleeding in "thin-skinned" elderly patients?
Toe fungus. Big one is bleeding/dried blood (recurring) a bit at cuticle corner & the skin around is puffy circle. Best treatment laser or Jublia? Or?
See a dermatologist: Begin by defining the problem. Is fungus the primary concern? Oral terbinafine for 3 months is safe and costs $12 cash.It is about 60% effective as judged by result 1 year later. Laser costs $1000, not covered by insurance, uncertain result. You need a year to find out if it helped. The cream costs over $1000 for less than 10% success. You pick one. ...Read more

Clean: Anal itching can be a very tough symptom to cure. However, I have found the following procedure an excellent "almost" cure. Tiny red spots on skin. Kinda look like tiny cuts and maybe bleeding under the skin. What could this be?.
Petechiae?: This sounds like petechiae, which actually is small volume bleeding just under the skin. Occasionally severe infections can cause petechiae, but most people at that stage wouldn't be on healthtap- they'd be in the icu! ...Read more

It may collect some more pus but you'll have to be extra careful getting rid of that. Put some antibacterial ointment on it and give it several days to heal. The blood should resorb. Be careful next time. If a zit won't pop with gentle pressure wait 'till it "matures" more to try again. ...Read more
