If one has bowel problems, he can see his primary care doctor or a gastroenterologist. Colonic cleaning or irrigation is not natural, and can be dangerous if the person's chemical balance is distorted. ...Read more

Do liver cleanse pills work?

No: They are a scam and simply make money for unscrupulous practitioners. At least they are safer than the crazy schemes in which you eat/drink something awful that can land you in intensive care. Your liver cleans itself and doesn't need help. If you really care about your liver, drink alcohol only on special occasions if at all, and get back into a fitness-focused lifestyle. ...Read more

I purchased tea for colon cleanse is that safe?

Likely just laxative: Most of these teas contain senna (cascara), which is a natural stimulant laxative. Does green tea help cleanse your colon?

No evidence for this: Caffeine is a potent stimulator of smooth muscle and may, therefore, have an impact on bowel function. One observational study showed that coffee consumption had some effect on constipation. However, japanese and chinese teas may have components that mitigate this effect of caffeine.
