My period was due today last actyvity was on 2nd I've had period like but tickling pain, tenderness in breasts, bloating, and pain in my legs. Pragnancy?

Not sure: It is important to know the duration of menstrual cycle and whether, any type of contraceptive method was used or not. Considering the cycle to be 28 days in duration, ovulation date may be 8/30/13. Conception is possible with sex on 9/2/13. The above symptoms are possible, both with or without being pregnant, slightly more likely without being pregnant. Home pregnancy test is needed to confirm. ...Read more

What causes pain/tenderness on eyebrows, especially when pressed? In addition, I tend to feel pain/tenderness on my temples from time to time.

Some thoughts...: This may simply be myofascial pain (tenderness in muscles of unknown cause), but a more important condition should be ruled out: Giant Cell Arteritis. This is an auto-immune inflammatory condition affecting blood vessels (most commonly, branches of the external carotid artery). If not treated, it can lead to loss of vision. The workup includes a focused exam and history, labs, and possibly biopsy. ...Read more

Can a lipoma cause rib pain & tenderness?

Here are some. ..: Most of palpable lipoma would not cause "rib pain and tenderness" since it is superficial and outside the rib. For very unusual condition, a lipoma may compress a nerve but impalpable due to its hidden location, yet it is incidentally suspected by a MRI for evaluating possible radiculopathy (pain from spinal nerve compression). But, age 19 is more in your favor. Nonetheless, see and work with Doc. ...Read more

Pain/tenderness on left side rib cage, then brown urine. Diagnosed/treated for rhabdomyolysis a week ago, lingering rib cage pain. Possible cause?

Over 2months ago a tech blew my vein doing a IV contrast. It is still having pain/tenderness in the injection site Including numbness in pinky why!?!?

Scar: For lack of a better word. Depending on where the catheter was will help explain some symptoms. If at the elbow, the contrast and blood forms a pocket. If there is a nerve nearby, there may be some pressure on it. Depends on how much was injected as well. Small amount should resorb quickly while larger amounts a little longer. You should talk to your doctor about possible relief. ...Read more
