My mum(53)got a hepatic cyst (6cmx5cm now)found through ultrasound scan 15 years ago. Is any treatment for this or can leave it if it grows slowly?

Liver cysts are common; CT scan usually can tell if harmless or not. Depending on degree of suspicion, if CT cannot tell or if cyst is large, might repeat CT in a few months, test the fluid, occasionally remove cyst, or other tests. ...Read more

What liver imaging modality was accomplished? Best of luck with your testing and treatment. ...Read more
