Hemp Oil Cancer
I have no idea: This is really not a question for a doctor. I would suggest consulting a herbalist.
Cancer is a group of diseases that is characterized by uncontrolled cell growth leading to invasion of surrounding tissues that spread to other parts of the body. Cancer can begin anywhere in the body and is usually related to one or more genetic mutations that allow normal cells to become malignant by interfering with internal cellular control mechanisms, such as programmed cell death or by preventing ...Read more
Hard to say: There have been a number of recent reviews of potential effects from the higher levels of cannabidiol (not THC) in hemp oils, and how they might have anti-tumor effects, anti-convulsant effects particularly in some refractory childhood forms of epilepsy, as well as effects for treatment of neuropathic pain and muscle spasm. However as with THC there is uncertainty in dosing, purity, other issues.
On Banting LCHF diet, 40y/o male, bad cholesterol slightly elevated... No meds currently. What sources of good fat to use? Recently started hemp oil.
Marine Fish Oil: Has a large amount of scientific studies to support its usefulness. It is often taken to lower triglycerides and for eyes, brain, joint, and mood. Make sure you get a good brand w/about 50% of the total mgs in epa ; dha. If you are on a blood thinner check w/doc first. Coconut oil is another excellent fat.
No data available: It is hard to trust the website that says that cbd hemp oil has no psycho active properties and then goes on to list a broad range of psycho active effects. Until there is adequate medical research done, I would discourage you from using this product if you are taking zyprexa (olanzapine). Best wishes. Cbd-hemp-oil. Com high cannabidiol hemp oil (hcho) is a cutting edge hemp oil containing high concentrations.

I am wondering if you can get addicted to a product called Elixinol, it is a hemp oil and coconut extract combination made up of hemp seeds and stalks?
Not very likely: At least from a physical dependency point of view. Hemp oil and similar products have a lot of CBD (cannabinodiol), which actually has actions which are pretty much the opposite of THC, and are not thought to be able to produce physical dependency. However, physical dependency is not a necessary component for having addiction (better termed now a severe substance use disorder). Why the concern?
If ingested, maybe: This is not impossible from the general rumors - disclose that you take this to the testers if you ingest it (not just a skin lotion) and let them know to look beyond that. Bring the oil w/ you for the test. Good luck.See 1 more doctor answer
Yes: Any oil based product has the risk of blocking pores.
Are calendula, roman chamomile, hemp oil good for new born skin? These ingredients are in a shampoo product.
No: In general, the less put on newborn skin the better - much of what is put on will be absorbed.
Will putting hemp oil on after tretinoin help soothe my skin and help with redness and peeling without effecting the tretinoin?
Why hemp oil?: Of all the moisturizers, why go out of your way looking for exotic things? If you stop using benzoyl peroxide you will be much less dry from that alone.
Will putting hemp oil on my face letting it soak in for 30 minutes then put Retin a (tretinoin) on minimise redness and flaking?
Possibly: Products like Retin-A exfoliate the skin, and WILL cause some dryness and flaking in some people. If this is too bothersome, try applying every other night. A moisturizer can help with the flaking, but use caution. Some people have had acne breakouts using hemp oil in their face, so if your acne worsens, stop the oil. You can also ask your Dr what moisturizer he/she recommends!
What supplements should be taken for a vegan diet? Taking 1000 mcg b12, 4 grams omega 3 from hemp oil and ground flax and protein from lugumes. Thx.
Minerals & vitamin D: Vegans are likely to become deficient in vitamin D, calcium, iodine, iron, vitamin A, zinc, and iodine. Even if you supplement, the diet is primarily a moral rather than a health-promoting decision; when you control for the fact that vegans have other healthy habits, the claimed benefits mostly vanish. It's your decision and I'm glad you've asked.See 2 more doctor answers
I am aware of no: Evidence that cannabis in any form can treat any kind of cancer. I will refer your question to the holistic medicine person. Certainly cannabis has other functions in improving appetite in people with cancer, reducing the wasting process often associated with it, and particularly reducing nausea. So, it may have distinct role, but am unaware of any proof that it has any chemotherapeutic effect.
Met some people who used RSO (RickSimpson Oil) cannabis oil to cure their cancer, left out (cancer) last question. Thoughts on validity of claim?
No, Yes: Nobody's been able to measure an increased cancer risk consistently from motor oil; I think the studies of increased pancreatic cancer in mechanics are statistical flukes. The stuff does irritate your skin some if it's dirty.
More research needed: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not approved the use of Cannabis as a treatment for any medical condition. To conduct clinical drug research in the United States, researchers must file an Investigational New Drug (IND) application with the FDA. The potential benefits of medicinal Cannabis for people living with cancer include antiemetic effects, appetite stimulation, pain relief, and improved sleep. Although few relevant surveys of practice patterns exist, it appears that physicians caring for cancer patients in the United States who recommend medicinal Cannabis predominantly do so for symptom management.
