Can internal hemorrhoids cause burning when I hold my pee and after I pee? I have passed five urine tests and had a scope and ultrasound.
Internal hemorrhoids are an unlikely cause of your urinary symptoms. Try increasing your water intake to dilute out if it is something in the urine that is causing burning sensation.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.

Seek medical help: If you are bleeding that heavily you need to be seen right away! A good rule of thumb-a pad or more per hour for 2-3 hours, go in. If you have these go in immediately. ...Read more

Help to ease the extreme pain due to hemorrhoids. Can't defecate or urinate properly. Nor can I move without feeling the extreme pain.
Thrombosed?: At your age I would expect the most likely reason for the pain etc is that a hemorrhoid is thrombosed. While heat packs and conservative management could be tried based on my experience once the diagnosis is confirmed by an exam, surgical incision and drainage is the most effective solution. Of course, prevention of hemorrhoids is good idea as well. ...Read more
Hello! Is there a correlation between hemorrhoids and enlarged prostate when it comes to defecating and urinating? Thank you!
Possibly: With prostate enlargement, obstructive urinary symptoms often occur gradually such as slowing of the stream, the need to strain to help force of stream and sense of incomplete emptying along with more frequent voiding. If obstruction is severe, hemorrhoids can become more inflamed when straining to urinate, resulting in discomfort. If this is occurring talk to your doctor. ...Read more
I have pain when tightening sphincter, urinating hurts sphincter and urine comes out in spurts, no visible hemorrhoids, on methadone, had constipation?
UTI? Stricture?: This could all be a nonspecific effect of methadone, or perhaps other drugs for which you are being treated with methadone. But the urinary symptoms also could be a urethral stricture, urinary tract infection (UTI), or both. Possibly STD (gonorrhea, chlamydia) but less likely. These are serious problems so don't take chances; discuss with your doctor soon. Good luck! ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

I had hemorrhoid banding on 9/21/15 and again on 10/21/15 and ever since then I've had frequent urination after bowel movements. Is this normal?
Sounds normal: While it's an unclear cause and effect issue, it doesn't sound dangerous at all. Also doesn't point towards any specific complication. No need to call the surgeon in this one, particularly if there's no pain, fevers, or problems related to urination other than timing. Hope this helps! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
