Unclear: The fact that you had a normal colonoscopy a year ago is reassuring, however i think you should see your primary doctor to check for blood in your stool and identify if any further testing is required. ...Read more

Go to the Doctor: Usually one learns the 'three s' approach to managing their hemorrhoids at home. But, given your symptoms there is absolutely nothing to tell you other than that you must be seen in person, examined, and possibly sent on to surgery. Antibiotics treat infection. Depends: Pruritus ani , hemorrhoids, fissures and fistula can also cause blood when wiping. Each is treated somewhat differently and so a specialist is best to get evaluated by so as to make the correct diagnosis. I assume that you are not having blood mixed in stool or in the water. Either way see a colorectal surgeon for a thorough evaluation. ...Read more

Fissure is painful: Most of the time fissure is located near tail bone , usually single with small skin tag , very painful, small amount of fresh blood after deification. Seen in young adults most of the time will heal in few wks to months.
