I am 6 weeks pregnant and I have a big external hemorrhoids, what pain medication or suppository can I take? Tucks (witch hazel) and preparation H don't help at all

Ice and sitz baths (soaking in warm water), as well as avoiding constipation by increasing fiber and fluid intake, work just as well for less money. Use suppositories: Preparation h also comes in suppositories probably more convenient for internal rectal discomfort. The cream or ointment contains Hydrocortisone 1% unless pt feels discomfort when applying it internally I do not think is absolutely contraindicated or may cause any serious harm. Things like preparation H will not address internal hemorrhoids. A doctor could inject the lesions so that those will shrink. If that does not help, it may be necessary to surgically remove the hemorrhoids.
