Can u inject a hemorrhoid blood clot with something to dissolve the blood clot?

Can u inject a hemorrhoid blood clot with something to dissolve the blood clot?

It will eventually shrink and resorb the blood leaving behind a tag but in the meantime the clotted hemorrhoid will be very painful and inconvenient. Sometimes the surgeon will simply cut it open and evacuate (remove) the clot ...Read more

Ive had a history of hemorrhoids, i just had a bowel movement and i the toilet was red and when i wiped there was a little blood clot is that normal?

Ive had a history of hemorrhoids, i just had a bowel movement and i the toilet was red and when i wiped there was a little blood clot is that normal?

Could be: As a physician I do not like to describe things as "normal" or not but use ideas like expected or understandable. We are born with hemorrhoidal tissues and bright red blood and even small clots can come from them. If there was no pain then it probably was not a tear or fissure. Keep an eye on this and if it continues you really need to see a provider and have a rectal exam if not short scope. ...Read more

Defecating blood nonstop.... no pain at all. Went to doctor they said it was a bursted hemorrhoid but wouldn't that be painful? The blood was in clots

Blood in stool: i presume your doctor did an exam? Hemorrhoids are internal and external. The external are the painful itchy ones typically. Internal not so much. Even when I suspect an internal hemorrhoid I have to consider some type of visualization in the future. Flexible sigmoidoscopy vs colonoscopy in the future. If the bleeding continues please don't ignore it. ...Read more

Is it normal to pass a blood clot size of a quarter. after using bathroom in bottom of the toilet there was darker blood pooled together. normal?

Blood in BM : I think you meant blood in your stool. Dark blood or black stool (malena) usually implies gastric bleeding. FRESH or bright red blood usually implies either hemorrhoids or rectal bleeding. Do you have peptic ulcer or taking NSAIDs medication? Either way you should contact your doctor to get answers soon. Do not wait until bleeding is worsened. ...Read more
