Have all symptoms of pregnancy except test is neg what could it be? Also found out i hâve a cyst on my right ovary. Could it be that
Trust the tests: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. ...Read more

What kind of cyst: Cyst means fluid filled and occur cyclically when not pregnant. A corpus luteum cyst supports an early pregnancy until about 10 weeks when the placenta takes over. Can a dermoid cyst affect a baby's development if not removed? Does 7x8x6 dermoid on right ovary neccessarily have to removed during pregnancy?
Ovarian tumors: As long as the dermoid doesn't twist on its own blood supply (torsion) and cause severe pain, in general they are left alone until postpartum. On occasional ovarian tumors need to be removed in the second trimester, but i always suggest getting a maternal fetal medicine opinion before removing if possible. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I'm five weeks pregnant. I had a scan today was told I have a dermoid cyst on my only ovary. How does this affect my pregnancy + should I be worried?
Very Common: Dermoid cysts are very common in reproductive aged women. They are nearly always benign. If they aren't causing you pain, i bet your doctor will recommend waiting until sometime after pregnancy to consider removal. Surgery during pregnancy does occur, but only when absolutely necessary. The cyst will likely not affect the pregnancy in any way. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

A 4.0 * 3.6 * 2.7 CM ovarian cyst is on m right ovary. How big is that? Can it be dangerous during pregnancy?
Quite common: It is quite common to have an ovarian cyst in pregnancy. Really the only way a cyst can be dangerous to your pregnancy is if it twists on itself (torsion) and requires surgical removal during the pregnancy. Most cysts that undergo torsion are significantly larger than yours. If you have no symptoms of pain, i would not worry at this time. If pain develops talk to you primary ob. ...Read more
I have a paraovarian cyst 1.6 CM near my right ovary. Is it dangerous? I am 30 without any pregnancy yet. Is it likely to resolve?
Follow up needed: A small cyst on your ovary is common and not a cause for concern. A cystic mass next to your ovary would be something to follow. At 30 years old, this would most likely be totally benign. A followup ultrasound to document that it resolved (and is not enlarging) may be indicated. Talk with your Gynecologist. ...Read more
