Doctor said that my hemoglobin test came back abnormal. What does mean if you have hemoglobin in urine test?

Hemoglobin test in urine came out positive. Should I be concerned? I do have Crohn's Disease that causes vaginal fistulas, but it is not active.
Yes: Assuming you have true hemoglobinuria. You should see a doctor to determine the true cause of hemoglobin in urine. I've been having period cramps without the bleeding and had +2 hemoglobin in my urine test. (Sexually active) is this the period coming or pregnancy?
In my urine test it showed positive with protein and hemoglobin, is this serious and what does it mean?
May need to recheck: Any blood in the urine can give rise to positive test for hemoglobin and protein. It is best to follow up on it as it means there is something wrong if the results are real. So you should get a repeat urinalysis done and then consult a kidney specialist if the results show any rbcs and or protein in your urine as it could mean intrinsic kidney disease like nephritis. ...Read more
On urine test results, urine hemoglobin=trace-intact, urine microscopic = indicated, wbc/hpf=0-3, rbc/hpf=0-3. What do these results & terms mean?
Normal: The WBC and rbc are referring to the number of white blood cells and red blood cells seen in a range of microscopic fields of sampled by the lab technician. The number of these cells (0 to 3) for both types of cell is within the normal limits expected. These normal, scattered red cells are enough to cause a trace of hemoglobin on the chemistry test. So these are all normal results. ...Read more
Insurance blood/urine tests showed creatinine 1.3, positive/high hemoglobin and white blood cells 20 -- what does this mean?
Blood test shows Creatinine 92 eGFR 58, Urine analysis shows hemoglobin 2 and Leukocytes 250. No fever or pain. What could this be?
On my lab work, one test said "HEMOGLOBIN UR: 2+".
Can you tell me what this indicates? I was on last day of period but didn't see blood in urine cup.
Probably OK: Positive urine dip stik for Hemoglobin is common. Particularly if you were stillon your period. This also occurs with NSAIDS and blood thinners being most common. Not to overlook serious problems, I will repeat the test on 2-3 weeks and be guided by results. In your case at 45 repeat urinalysis in 2-3 weeks is best advice. If the positive test persists, more complete evaluation is next. ...Read more

Did blood work and urine sample for woman physical exam. Everything came back normal except for "hemoglobin 1+" in urine sample. What could this mean?
Possibilities...: This means there was a small amount of microscopic blood in the urine sample. One of the most common reasons for a female is having your menses at the time the sample was obtained. Another common reason is if a catheter was inserted to obtain the sample. If neither of these explains it, it might be best to repeat the urine test and pursue further tests if the blood is still present. ...Read more

Diagnosed with anemia. I take 65mg iron twice a day. Hemoglobin is now normal but RDW is 20.3 and RBC in urine is 3-5 (high)?
May take time : for your RDW to normalize. Your hemoglobin will return to normal faster than your RDW. The RDW is most useful when it is reported with the MCV to determine the cause of anemia. I would also want to know WHY you became iron deficient. Since you are post menopausal, you should not really be losing a lot of iron. Have you had a hem-occult test? 3-5 RBC in a UA is not high, but it is not normal. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
