Limit straining: Symptoms of hemorrhoids occur from constipation, diarrhea, or general straining. Correct the cause and you will get better. May take 1-2 weeks however, and that's with sitz baths after bm, anusol-type cream or ointment, non-steroidal meds, push fluids and increase fiber in diet for constipation or take anti-diarrheal meds if appropriate. ...Read more

I have external hemorrhoids (piles). Can I consume Arcoxia for pain relief? Or what can I do to relieve pain & cure it at home as quickly as possible?

Simple remedies: For piles, topical preparations work rather well - Preparation H, witch hazel pads, etc. Avoid alcohol and anything that can damage the liver, avoid fatty, rich foods. Arcoxia is a COX-2 inhibitor (like Celebrex (celecoxib) and the now-removed Vioxx) that is available in Australia - not sure where you are getting it from if you are in US. It can only help temporarily, and is best to avoid it if possible. ...Read more

Nothing wrong w/ you: Its a normal part of life to have medical problems. Regarding yor hemorrhoids, consider seeing a colorectal surgeon for a consultation.
